SCI: Social and Cultural Innovation Lab

Building new methods and bodies of knowledge to drive intersectional social and cultural change. The Social and Cultural Innovation Lab (SCI) is a multidisciplinary team of researchers and design practitioners focused on addressing social and cultural challenges at community, local, and national levels. The lab aims to develop new methodologies, tools, and knowledge in areas such as social innovation, sustainable design, inclusive design, and cultural management through realworld case studies. Their work spans topics like arts and crafts, social wellbeing, education, and the creative industrys role in social welfare, all aimed at improving the quality of life for locals and marginalized groups. The labs approach is driven by design thinking, collaboration, and a strong international network.
