The research unit advances knowledge and innovation on native bees, honeybees, and pollinators in Thailand by integrating expertise in bee biology, beekeeping, pollination biology, bioactive compounds from natural products, and the behavior and communication of eusocial insects to support sustainable utilization and conservation. หน่วยวิจัยมุ่งสร้างองค์ความรู้และนวัตกรรมด้านผึ้งพื้นเมือง และแมลงผสมเกสรของประเทศไทย โดยบูรณาการความเชี่ยวชาญด้านชีววิทยา การเลี้ยงผึ้ง ชีววิทยาการผสมเกสร สารออกฤทธิ์ทางชีวภาพจากผลิตภัณฑ์ธรรมชาติ ตลอดจนพฤติกรรมและการสื่อสารของแมลงสังคม เพื่อสนับสนุนการใช้ประโยชน์และการอนุรักษ์อย่างยั่งยืน
