Project Info / Background

The Happy Cities: A New Model for Designing New Urban Areas workshop was initiated to address the need for innovative urban design strategies that prioritize both happiness and sustainability. This collaborative project involved KMUTTs School of Architecture and Design, Harvard University, Chulalongkorn University, and Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited. The aim was to develop a new framework for urban planning that integrates wellbeing and environmental considerations, creating urban spaces that foster a higher quality of life and are more resilient to environmental challenges.

Process

The workshop, Happy Cities: A New Model for Designing New Urban Areas, brought together experts and participants from KMUTTs School of Architecture and Design, Harvard University, Chulalongkorn University, and Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited.
