บริษัท พัฒนาโฟรเซ่นฟู้ด จำกัด (ในเครือ PTN GROUP) เป็นบริษัทผลิตอาหารทะเลแช่เยือกแข็งเพื่อการส่งออก ในเครือฯ บริษัทจันทบุรีซีฟู้ดส์ จำกัด ได้รับการส่งเสริมการลงทุนจาก BOI บริษัทฯ ได้รับการรับรองระบบมาตรฐานคุณภาพ ISO 9001:2008 , ISO14001 ,ISO /IEC17025 ,GMP/HACCP,BRC,IFS ,BSCI, Halal , มรท. เนื่องจากการผลิตกุ้งแช่เยือกแข็งมีเปลือกกุ้งเหลือทิ้งเป็นจำนวนมาก ซึ่งปัจจุบันทางบริษัทฯ ได้จำหน่ายเป็นอาหารสัตว์ที่มีมูลค่าต่ำ ดังนั้นทางบริษัทฯ จึงมีความสนใจในการเพิ่มมูลค่าของเปลือกกุ้งเหลือทิ้ง โดยนำมาผลิตเป็นไคโตซาน
